I love to read and make things. I have been a painter for 15 years and am finishing my teaching degree in Art and Social Studies at university now. I have 4 children.

I am a competitive snowsculptor. I know it is an odd hobby, but I've been carving for 15 years and I just love it.

I love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Harry Potter series, Hunger Games, To Kill a Mockingbird, anything by Vonnegut, and Esau. I also love kids books. We have many a sagging bookshelf in our house.

Music: Smashmouth, Bare Naked Ladies, 80s rock.

My favorite colors are purple and rainbow. I realize that is not a color, but it should be.

I am a painter. I have been a professional painter for 15 years. I have made and sold art in art fairs for years, not all paintings. Some art dolls, some jewelry, really, whatever amuses me that summer. I am very eclectic. Steampunk is my latest fascination.

I am a very poor gardener, but I love it, and I love to grow food and flowers. I love to play outside with the kids. The beaches of Michigan have won my heart. Another favorite place is Oaxaca, Mexico. Day of the Dead fascinates me.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do enjoy the occasional episode of Mythbusters or Glee or Holmes on Holmes. OH! And Mysteries at the Museum. Love that show. Movies, I watch many, mostly comedies and kid movies. I loved Avengers. Better off Dead is my hands down all time favorite.
