Hi! I am a student at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia - home of REM and the Georgia Bulldogs. College football is HUGE here in the south, it's almost like a religion, and my school is amazing! I'm a fourth year student in Financial Planning & Psychology. I am in what we call the Double Dawgs program, so I am taking graduate-level courses as an undergrad and as soon as I graduate with my Bachelor's (May 2020) I'll be moving straight into the Master's program for Financial Planning and graduating May 2021!
I love my major and am very passionate about financial literacy & financial counseling. I work as a coach for a financial literacy program providing education to low-income families in my community and across 12 counties. I'm still figuring out my career, but I am hoping to work for a financial planning firm and work some non-profit work in there as well!
I am mainly interested in swapping postcards, but I also love printmaking (although I can't really do it myself) and really, all kinds of art.
I'm most interested in odd, unique postcards, but I also like: - black and white - coloring cards - space themed (I was briefly a physics major..) - prints - old cars - dinosaurs - illustrations - geometry - handmade cards - native americans - handmade cards! and anything else you'd like to send!
Other miscellaneous information:
I love plants! I've been really into houseplants lately and want to start a little apartment garden when the weather is right. Taking care of them and seeing them grow makes me so happy!
I have a one-eyed cat named Noodle, and she is my pride and joy.
I really like art, homemade things, decorated things... I like to call my room a "hot mess", it's a representation of all the random unique art I've collected over the years. I've made tie dye tapestries, and I love them, but I have no wall space to hang them!
I like decorated cards! I've been into calligraphy lately, and while I can't do it myself, I LOVE to see what other people are capable of. Fancy handwriting is cool! And stickers, sayings in foreign languages, washi tape, etc. Whatever you think is cool, I probably will too :)
I DON'T much like multiview postcards, but that's pretty much it - again, send what you like!
Thanks for reading :)
