I enjoy quilting, applique and needlework as well as reading, geocaching and driving my ATV. I have been married for 14 years and have a 4 year old son and a baby girl due in September. Most would say that I am a little quirky and I do like pretty non-traditional things.

Although I have been doing needlework most of my life, I just recently started to quilt. I am interested in fabric swaps mostly because I am such a new quilter, I wouldn't trust my piecework. I am just starting a Lori Holt (comforts of home) quilt but I am struggling with the fabric because I want it to look more 70s then 30s.

I love Nickelback and Broadway musicals (I know, strange dichotomy). My favorite musical is "Aida".

"The Gargoyle" by Andrew Davidson, "Pillars of the Earth" and "A World Without End" by Ken Follett, "I Know This Much Is True" by Wally Lamb, "Jester" by James Patterson, "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins are my favorite books.

I also love the following authors: Lee Child, James Rollins, Matthew Reilly, Brad Thor, Rick Riordan, Stephenie Meyers. I read around 50 books a year.
