I love color!!! My favs are blues, greens and al the fall colors -- rust, golds and burgundys. I am a quilter and I like to meet other quilters whether on line or in person.
I like traditional designs best but in bright colors -- not the 1930s pastels or "old fashioned" muted colors. I do some applique and right now am trying my hand at bargello.
I live in the northwest in winter and on the Maine coast in the warm weather months.
I have 2 sons and 3 grandaughters.
I love art and, when I travelled, I collected watercolors and prints instead of traditional souveniers.
I love the outdoors and walk pathways -- I used to do more exciting hiking. I love flowers and have several gardens in the summer.
I see several "down under" people in the swaps. My ironing board cover is aboriginal painting designs. A great memory every time I press seams.
I like the soft ballads of the 60s , 70s and 80s. I listen a lot to semi classical and broadway musicals
I like a wide mix. -- light mystery, historical novels and bodice rippers that are descriptive of a place.
Some authors go deep into descriptions of the area and history of the setting. Miranda Lee in Australia, Some Agatha Christie in rural UK and a lot of American regional authors.
