I am in social work, love to inline skate, play board and card games, dance, read, volunteer and swim.
I frequent renaissance festivals and comic cons. Love to travel to other states for both. Maybe someday other countries!
Did I mention I love cats? As in, I want a small army of them to cuddle all over me every moment of every day? I have limited myself to one crazy cat with a big personality - Dr. Rockzo aka Mr. Kitty. Somehow he lost his licensure in his nickname...
Band of Gold by Freda Payne is my favorite song of all time, Lonely Teardrops by Jackie Wilson comes a close second and pretty much anything by Queen for third. Followed by Queens of the Stone Age, more Motown, throw in some disco and all the hip hop you can find me.
This section, movies, and television are going to look strangely similar... Full of sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery.
I grew up on the Lord of the Rings, murder mysteries, and Charlaine Harris. Never Let Me Go is and has been my favorite novel for some time. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn really spoke to me in my youth and I read every Joan Lowry Nixon book in my middle school library. My love of mystery evolved with Stella Duffy. And currently I enjoy expanding my passion of social work with gender and anthropological studies.
Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice!
Love Me If You Dare and The Edukators are two of my favorite foreign films.
The Venture Bros. and Veronica Mars are two of my most favorite shows. I share them with anyone who is willing!
Bears, Beets, and Battlestar Galactica. And Doctor Who. And Firefly. Of course also Star Trek AND Star Wars. Aaaaaand go ahead and throw in some Lost Girl while we are adding to sci-fi mountain.
Netflix: Dear White People, Stranger Things, The Get Down, Sex Education.
Mail! I've been an avid letter writer/mail sender since I was kid. Several of my family members passed their love of mail to me, whom I still write to. Until I discovered the majestic Internet community of mail lovers, I mostly send mail to friends.
Collages. I am planning to make a collage with all the used stamps I receive over the next several years from swaps. Plans are also brewing for a postcard wall/installation at my future house.
Discovering the world of envelope making and ATCs.

Thank you for rating me! I try to respond to ratings when I am able but still appreciate you if I don't respond :)
If you're planning on putting photos of your swaps on Instagram/Facebook/somewhere else, please don't show or mention my full name or my address and I will do the same for swaps I send :) Thank you!
