Hi There. I live in Vermont. I work as art director at the local alt weekly paper. I'm in a band called Dirty Blondes.
I love animals and live with 6 cats and my beau. I enjoy a good cocktail, especially one with vodka in it.
I love gardening and hanging out in my weird little urban yard.
I paint and make stuff, but I've been slackin' off a little lately. I'm looking forward to some swap projects to get the creative juices bubbling.
Babaloo, Drug Rug, Kanda Bongo Man, Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, Opium Jukebox, a little bit of everything
The Little Prince is number one on my list. I just got a tattoo of the illustration for "Halfway Down" by A.A. Milne. I just reread Breakfast of Champions on an airplane. Dictionaries and old encyclopedias always make me happy. Reference books are a kick. I like books I can cut up.
The Point, Barbarella (I can't believe they're doing a remake next year. Yick), The Life Aquatic
I watch at least one of the two The Golden Girls episodes that are on Lifetime before I go to work in the morning. I have been known to watch both and then the two that are on later in the night. Actually, I used to do that every day. I admit it, I have a thing about The Golden Girls.
I like to paint. I like to cut stuff up and stick it to other things. I've decorated millions of matchbooks that are the house matches of a local bar. Sometimes I frame those in shadowboxes. Sometimes I sell those. A famous movie star has one hanging in his apartment in NYC, but I'm not at liberty to reveal his identity (unless you twist my arm). I've never been a knitter or sewer, but I have great admiration for those that do.
I live with six cats: Stoli, Pepper, Sturgis, Bunny, Cleo and Queen B. I also have a 9 year old humongous goldfish named Gill.

I appreciate the gift however the swap was for a Journal and the gift was secondary. I joined this swap to see how someone else held up for the month of December. I wrote in it diligently and included recipes and such. I thought the person sending to me would hold up to their end of the bargain. I admit this wasn't the easiest swap to do. The only way I'd be willing to change the rating is if I receive the swap. Here's a compromise, why not do a journal for the month of Feb. that way I'll get my end of the swap.
I appreciate you sending me a gift certificate. It's not that I don't. However the swap was for a Diet Journal and a gift. The journal took me a long time to do as we had to keep track and write down things for 30 days and I put a lot of effort into it, thinking I was going to get one back. The main part of the swap was the journal, not the gift. I was so looking forward to receiving a journal from you. I'll change the rating once I receive a journal. Maybe you could do one for the month of Feb. I'd be open to that and changing my rating once I received it.
"All the cats are good at sharing. Not so much with Gill."
I saw this in the 'for our pets' swap... LOL
I thought it was cute!!
