I'm a dog groomer who surprise has four dogs. My fav color is any shade of blue and in any texture. I love looking at texture infact there's this open shelf in my studio with all my yarn in it. It gives me inspiration when I need it. I like chocolate and I like to try new foods and radom adventures. Since I went to Cancun a few months ago I have really big on respecting mother earth. I'm addicted to grocery bags and being more responsible about my enviromental footprint. We are recyclers so if you have a craft that has used recycled stuff I'd appricate it,espically anything made from plactic bags.
I have enjoyed reading adventure books about the outdoors, craft related how to books and animal behavior.
My favorite movie of all time is Beauty and the Beast. I also enjoy the old fashion disney movies. I love LOTR Tolkien is a genius and dwarfs rule!!
TV shows I like are Gordan Ramsey stuff, DIY, and HGTV. I love watching shows that have knittng and crocheting as subject even though I DON'T knit. I like to see how knitters do their stuff and steal some of their ideas. My boyfriend is a chef so I have Food Network on every night which I don't mind. Season pases on my TIVO are Ugly Betty, Psych, Law and Order CI, ER, and a few others that I don't remember.
I do alot of crocheting and I used to sew until my machine and I had creative differences. I'm saving up for a new fancy one!! I also do embroidery to make my things look truely unique. SInce my boyfriend is a chef I've decided to take the Wilton Cake Decorating classes, which I really like. I'm also learning how to spin my own yarn. I'm also very big on learning something new. I like projects that have a basic shape and style then I will make them my own by using differnt yarns or things. I basically like to turn nothing into something.
No acrylic yarn please. My mom knits with and it's very scratchy and hot. I like natural fibers and things that are soft and have an easy texture to crochet with. I would really love to try bamboo and prima cotton yarns.
