I am a newly retired high school teacher. For my retirement, my husband surprised me with new Berninas, both a sewing machine and a serger. Have sewn most of my life and have been quilting for the last 15 years. I sew almost daily. I am active in my church and head the music ministry. I have two granddaughters and one grandson.

I love both traditional and modern quilts...and of course....I LOVE FABRIC! I absolutely love anything homemade! I so enjoy creating bags, purses, organizers, etc. With a fabric line. I have become quite smitten with fabric that includes text; I plan to try some as background in a future quilt. Red is my favorite color.

Other things I enjoy include cooking and baking, reading, singing and playing the piano.
