I'm a thirty-something wife and mother. I have lived on the east coast and west coast, my hubby's job has required us to move a lot. I am from Michigan and look forward to moving back within the next two year. I have two daughters; one in school and one not school age. I am a stay at home mom. I enjoy photography, baking, sewing, painting (furniture and small things), thrift store shopping, antiques, decorating my home and currently trying to teach myself crochet. I also enjoy sewing with my older daughter, she is learning. I don't watch much tv but I do like dramas and am addicted to British dramas. (Downton Abbey) I currently living in a crowded subdivion in VA. I day dream about buying a small farm (10 acres) with chickens, freshly tilled soil and freshly grown veggies. Possibly adding a cow or two. I picture myself hanging my laundry on the clothline and soaking up the sun. I use Pinterest as my day dream idea board. I picture myself doing something and then can visualize it and find a picture that is close to my idea.
I attend Zumba classes twice a week. I love Zumba! I could honestly do a Zumba class everyday or a few a day it I could afford that many. I like to take walks too but only when it isn't cold outside. I have done a 5k before and would like to do more in the future and possibly any race between a 5k and a half marathon. First I need to work on getting in shape (losing weight). My biggest struggle is eating... sugar is a total addiction for me. My hubby and I are working on adding more whole foods and removing most of the processed food from our home. My goal is to work on this throughout 2013. My other goal starting this year is too start using more reusable items and create least waste. Cloth napkins and kitchen towels instead of paper. Also work on removing chemicals from our house. Taking baby steps I hope to be there by the end of this year. (Speaking of baby... using cloth daipers and wipes if/when we have #3)
I want to learn to crochet, play piano, and homestead.
I listen to many types of music, country and Christian are my favorites. Honestly, I haven't been listening to much music lately because I listen when I am in the car and I am not in it much. I like a lot of late 90s early 2000 stuff too.
