I live in Iowa with my husband and our greyhound. I work as a veterinary microbiologist and we keep chickens in our backyard. I like canoeing, skiing, cycling, and projects. Our current project is brewing beer.

I love getting things in the mail that aren't junk!

I also love to travel. I have been to most of the states, Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland. We're planning a trip to China next spring.
