About Me

I am an USAF wife and a US Navy & US Army Mom. I have 3 boys (27, 23, & 5) and 3 step-daughters (19, 16, & 14). I love to create art and meet new people. I main art is beading, mixed media collage/assemblage and fiber art with an emphasis on art dolls using all of the above. I have a blog at http://purpleroseartworks.blogspot.com I don't blog everyday but come back often to hear my latest news. I also teach art workshops and beading classes

Favorite Music

I like most music, but mainly listen to Country. We recently got Sirius Satellite Radio so my options are much bigger now. There is so much to listen to there like hits from the 70's and 80's.

Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, ET, Gone In 60 Seconds(new version), Cars, Ladder 49, and many more

Favorite Television

All CSI shows, The Closer, Saving Grace, Project Runway and similar design type shows, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Miami Ink, Driving Force and ALL NASCAR RACING EVENTS

Favorite Crafts

Art Dolls, Beading, Fiber Arts, Mixed Media Collage/Assemblage. I just like crafting and sharing my art with other people.

Response: Balloon Fiesta is something everyone should experience at least once. 700+ balloons in the air at one time is an incredible site. Well worth the trip to Albuquerque.
