Hi!

My Name is Steff..a 30something mom/girl friday/Ms Moneypenny/cheerleader/chauffeur/chef/referee/craft-obssessed chick living in Illinois. I'm originally from the west coast part of the US (California & PAc NW-Tacoma)..but moved here a couple of years ago.

I pretty much do a lot of sewing, crochet, beginner knitting, same with fimo, resin stuff, making stuff with felt..you name it, I've probably either tried it..and what I've not, is in my to-learn list. :D

I love love love swapping (I'm a member of Crafster & have good, positive feedback there..just ask & I will email you a link to it!) & when a friend told me about this, was so thrilled to find people out there who are bitten with the swap-bug, too.

movies..there's waay too many, but my favorites are: Amelie, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, Papillon (Steve McQueen movies, really), Horseman on the Roof, Hayao Miyazaki movies, the Matchmaker, Musa the Warrior, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Band of Brothers, Under the Tuscan Sun..to name a few. :D

I love books, too..I don't really have a specific "genre"..I like the Odd Thomas Series, Turtle Moon, Anthem, the Sheltering Sky, Disappearing Moon Cafe, just started reading the 2nd book in Stephenie Meyer's series.

I love fabrics..I collect them..buying them with every intention of using them..and end up not..I fall in love with them...I know, it's weird. :P And buttons, too..I've got gobs of them!
