I live in Northern Michigan (Born in CA). Will be married 30 years this May. I have 4 daughters(28,,27, 25 (all married), and a 9 yr old who is in 3rd grade. I also have 6 grandchildren, (g-7, b-6, g-5, b-3, g-3, b-3)
We live in the same house my husband has lived in all his life and have a small farm. Currently 8 cows, 1 bull and 1 horse (my first),a tri-color paint named Ariel. I won't bore you with all of the cattle names unless someone wants to know (we will have some new babies in a couple of months). I also have 2 dogs. A black lab/chow (Jacob, who is 10) and an Australian Shepard (Dillon, who just turned 1 and is training to be my medical alert dog)
I am/was an RN and EMT-S but now medically retired d/t a on the job accident while working on the ambulance 7 years ago this month (we were hit head on and I suffered an CHI, I have short-term memory problems as well as other problems). I have almost daily headaches also.
My girl's have always be involved with sports, music and 4-H and that hasn't stopped with my youngest (she even plays the violin, guitar and keyboard).
We try to do some type of traveling every year, but have not in the last 2 years, hopefully one of these next few years we will be taking an Alaska trip.
I like most crafts and have a lot of different things here at the house for my daughter and I to do or try.
Since my accident if I am learning to do something new unfortunely(sp) I have to find actual piece of the craft to look at it first as that is how I comprehend things. (It is hard for me to visualize learning something by just looking at a picture for the 1st time)
any questions just ask. I also have auditory processing disorder so I don't hear things/sounds or cannot distinguish them like I use too.
Usually one of my daughters or someone will help me if I need to fill out something, ect so in time you will probably meet them here. One of them (Amy) writes a daily cooking blog where she is creating new recipes.
Well that is all I can think of now as it has taken me all day to write this. I hope it helps everyone to know me a little more..
