I just moved into an apartment, alone. This is my first time living without roommates/boyfriends and I have nothing. I have little furniture and nothing the least bit decorative. In surfing the internet for things I could buy I discovered this amazing community of people who just found stuff in the trash and turned these things into amazing works of art. I decided I wanted to be one of those people. That was last week. So I really don't know "how" do to anything. But I will learn and I do not shy away from challenges. I am 29. I like all things words. I like books, crossword puzzles, and scrabble! I am a news junkie and as such listen to NPR faithfully. I love movies and music. I love the color yellow and sunshine, oh and I love trees. I appriciate simplicity and wine. I love good food and rather enjoy cooking although it is a new undertaking for me and as such I am not that great. I love games and learning new things. I like to travel a lot and have lived lots of different places. Oh also I'm a car sales person and a student.
As far as things I don't like..I don't like this whole Kawaii thing. I don't like poppy romance novels. I don't like house/electronica music. I don't like seafood. I don't like lines. I know some of this is a bit irrelevent but what the heck.
Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Sufjan Stevens, Cat Power, Fiona Apple, Modest Mouse, A Tribe Called Quest, Atmosphere, Belle and Sebastian, Ryan Adams, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Decemberists, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, the list goes on...

Old books, witty books, smart books. Some books I like that I've read: The Watchmen (graphic novel), A Confederate Soldier from Big Sur by Richard Brautigan, The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, I could go...
