Hi, my name is Susanne, I live in Germany. I'm married and we have a 13 year old son.

Snail Mail is my thing! It always was and will be. That's why I'm here. Sending and receiving mail is my passion. Right now I have 7 penpals.

I have not been in a lot swaps so I think my profile will grow in the future. For now I hope it will give you some hints what I like most. You can also click "Favourites" and see some of the things I love.

I love to travel with my family. Now we often travel within our country. Especially to North and Baltic Sea or the Bavarian Alps. When I was younger I loved travelling to foreign countries. I visited Austria, Canada (Vancouver), Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt (Read Sea), England, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, USA (east coast) and also Vatican City. My travel bucket list: Sweden, Ireland, Australia, California, Hawaii

I really love papercrafting. I always loved paper but never knew what to do with it. Then I started to use instagram more regular in 2016 and found so many talented and inspiring papercrafter and now I'm totally addicted. Right now I escpecially make lots of things for my penpals like flipbooks, mailfolder and stuff like that. I also try to do scrapbooking and handlettering and let's see what time will bring! Right now I love the vintage style most. But I also like colourful floral/botanical/fauna themes.

I looove to read. I'm an avid but quite slow reader. One book at a time. I especially like to read Jojo Moyes, Anna Gavalda, J.K. Rowling. Favourite books of all time: Pride and Prejudice and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

I especially love Mumford & Sons. Have always been a big fan of Billy Joel. And I always loved ABBA! In 2017 I joined a modern church choir and love singing there very much. I'm an alto singer.

You've got m@il is my favourite, due to private reasons :-) And also like to see Love...actually again and again. But I also love Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avengers, Avatar...

• I collect airmail/priority stickers from foreign countries.

Dislikes:

I don't like too cute or Disney themed goodies. I'm also not a fan of unicorns and Kawaii. Sorry!

I don't drink a lot of tea and no coffee, but I like hot chocolate :-) For potential tea swaps, I prefer minty teas. Just discovered yummy Chai Latte...

Please don't send me blank city/tourist postcards. I have no use for them. (It's fine if you use them to write your swap messsage on - I'd love to see where you live!)

I always rate my swap partner but it's a little bit annoying if you have to reach a certain number of ratings for special swaps and you don't get a rating. So please don't forget it. I always send out my swaps in time. If there should be a problem with my mail for you please contact me first. Sometimes mail gets lost... We will find a solution...

Please note:If you send something to me from outside Europe which is bigger or thicker than a normal envelope, please put such a little customs declaration sticker on it. Otherwise it might get stuck somwhere at customs!
