I'm a newish mummy-blogger with two boys aged 3 and 1. I live in Dorset, UK and am currently reawakening an interest in crafting and recently made my very first scrapbook page - hooray!

I have eclectic musical tastes - everything from show tunes to soft rock, but musicals are my very favourite! My favourite musical is Wicked, so I've based my wedding colours on dark green.

My favourite book I'd The Stand by Stephen King, but I keep going back to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen- must be the romantic in me! I love crime novels - Kathy Reichs, Sara Paretsky, Mark Mills, all sorts really!

My favourite ever movie is Singin' in the Rain and I love movie musicals. I also really love James Bond movie and anything with a bit of adventure. I also love soppy chick flicks and 1980s teen movies.

I love US shows, Grey's Anatomy, Cougar Town, Bones, Chuck etc but also good BBC drama - costume or contemporary! I also love those mini-series that are based on slushy novels - they made the best one sin the 1980s - Scruples, Princess Daisy, War and Remembrance - fantastic!

So far I'm getting back into scrapbooking and card making, but I like cross stitch and tapestry too. I love ribbons, pretty backing papers and sweet embellishments, but I'm not keen on peel offs and rub on letters as I'm terrible at putting them on straight!

I love old postcards, especially from far-flung places, anything to do with family history and genealogy.

I love to try new foods, sweets, drinks and things - I'm always the first to buy new brands when they come into the shops.

I'm also a new veggie gardener, so am building a collection of seeds and bits and bobs for our garden which, hopefully will mean it is presentable next year.

My children love to bake so we are always on the look out for new recipes for treats and cakes and things like that - easy things for kids to be involved with.

I can't really say I have many dislikes that I could put my finger on - I don't like things made of fur, for example - fake fur is fine, but there are the sticky ethical issues about real fur!
