Welcome to my profile.
I live in a very small town in Texas. I have 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I have a few animals, cats, a dog, chickens, ducks, pigeons, doves, geese and turkeys. I am a collector and I have shelves around the ceiling in every room. I collect Pillsbury Dough Boy, Campbell's Kids, cows, milk bottles and cow creamers, green and red glassware, dolls and teddy bears. I listen to country music. I like to spend time with my grandkids, work in my yard, decorate my house, watch tv and read. I want to make dolls and quilts and I have some carousel type horses that I hope to get time to paint in the near future. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I like to decorate my yard with scarecrows, pumpkins and fall flowers. In the spring I like to plant a garden.
If you ever get a package from me that comes with postage due, please let me know and I will reimburse you. Hopefully it will never happen, but if it does, please accept my apologies. Also if you get my name for more than one swap, feel free to combine the items if it makes it easier or saves you some money on shipping.
If I am your partner for a swap and you are wondering what I would like, here are some suggestions:
magnets (state/country)
fine point pens
buttons, lace
patterns for dolls, quilts, appliques
stickers
ephemera
gardening items, seeds/plants
craft, decorating or gardening magazines/books
pretty writing paper/envelopes
tote bags
embroidery thread
postcards
note cards
tags
labels
ATC’s
pretty papers
fortunes from fortune cookies
anything you’ve made
If we are in a postcard swap, I like all kinds. If we are in a thrift store swap, I like just about anything that has to do with crafts or is vintage.
.
My favorite color is peach, but I like all colors.
Dislikes- People whose do not send list is longer than their like list, so they suck the fun out of swapping. 😕 People who don’t rate. When you ask if they received the swap they say no, so you resend and they still refuse to rate or even acknowledge that they received the swap. 😠loose glitter, sequins, puffy stickers, reward stickers

Hello Darla - Many thanks for the replacement PC's for the swap titled 5 Blank PC's - 5 Partners. I truly appreciate it! When I send these PC's on to others, I will make certain to use the cardboard inserts you provided to enhance the structural integrity of the PC's to keep them from bending during transit. Thanks again! Cheerfully, Vita Lynné

Just stopped by to say hello. I miss you!
You are sooo sweet to think of me. When I saw mail from you in my mailbox, I smiled, just knowing it was from you. But the adorable octopus book marker is fantastic. You are the best!!
Hello Back, dear friend.
Thank you for dropping a card in the mail.
Postcards each week in 2015 Week 36
Darla received your postcard yesterday. The Bishop's Palace looks like a place I definitely would like to visit. Heck, not visit, I would love to live there. Imagine all those rooms, I could have at least 6 craft rooms. Yes, just dream on. Thank you , Shirley
