love spending an hour sifting through charity shops for anything i can put in a junk journal...old things tell a story and my imagination runs away with me about who had it, what they used it for, did they love it etc etc...my ideal job would be house clearance! my mum always said i should have been a blue peter presenter making stuff out of rubbish...i don't see it as rubbish...i see it's potential
powerful women stuff...pink, alanis, aretha, kate, annie etc...that's not to say i don't like fluffy pop because i do...and actually lots of styles EXCEPT drum'n'bass (i don't get it)
only read usa fiction (strange as i am english!)...love jodi picoult and alice hoffman...something intriguing and slightly mystical
michael (you gotta learn how to laugh, it's the only way to true love)...LA Story (Enya's haunting music was perfect for this)...any disney (who doesn't love disney??!!)
homeland!!!! bring on series 3! and i can spend hours watching documentaries (i don't because i'm lucky to get the remote/have too many chores)
any...have tried them all and switch from one to another but junk journals are my favourite
if i was on death row my last meal would be: beef tomatoes and mozzarella slices drizzled in pesto...chicken, bacon and avocado salad with chickpea bread (washed down with an icy cold gin and tonic)....hot fat belgium waffle with mr whippy ice cream and caramel sauce (washed down with a frothy cinnamon latte)
singing and cake unite everyone
i am the tradition keeper and genealogist in my family
i have 2 dogs (one has adhd i'm sure) and 2 cats and we are hoping to get chickens soon (a donkey would be lovely but i don't have the space)
crafting keeps me from joining my ancestors in the asylum
i love to get paperbags, coffee holders, anything cath kidston, shabby chic itty bitty things, magazines (especially country living/mollie makes/homemaker), candy from other countries, any jesus or mary religious cards, inspirational quotes, funny postcards and coffee sachets.
