I am a 39 yo female with a 14 yo daughter. I've been married to my husband for 15 years and it seems a little ridiculous to say that. It only seems to be a couple of years ago I met him! My daughter started her first year of high school this year and that also seems a little crazy.

I love most things crafty. I crochet, paint with acrylics, sketch, cartoon, just starting to play around with water colors. I've dabbled in baking and cake decorating. I sew and quilt a little. Just started bullet journaling this year and I'm really enjoying it. I've owned a guitar since I was 18 but somehow have failed to ever learn how to play it.

I'm an avid reader, mostly fantasy and science fiction. I write and self publish under a couple of different pen names. I go through phases with tv, either I don't watch any or I binge watch for 30 hours a week.

The best series I've ready lately is by NK Jemison, but my all time favorite is the MaddAdam series by Margaret Atwood. I want to be Margaret Atwood when I grow up.

Folk/American/southern rock. I love love love me some Avett Brothers! If my husband didn't work a 9-5 job we would just follow their tour.

I also like the Black Crowes, The Judds, Alabama Shakes, Shakey Graves, etc and so on.
