About Me

All about me...let's see, I love to craft and I love to try crafting just about anything and everything.

My family is my mother and sister and our house full of critters. We take in rescue animals and have the vet bills to prove it.
Currently we have 9 cats, 9 guinea pigs, 2 bunny rabbits and 6 birds. Our home is their forever home, we've taken them in and they now stay with us.

Favorite Crafts

I love trying all sorts of new crafts. I like general stuff, plus scrapbooking, painting, recycle crafts and on and on!!!

My mom has recently started crocheting and I am on the hunt for fun and fabulous yarn for her!

I Collect....

Barbies - yep, I'm in my 30's but I can't get enough of the plastic lady!!!

Star Trek - this is for my sister, she is a huge fan of all the Star Trek shows!!!

Angels - this is for my mom - she has angels everywhere even hanging in her car!!

Fur & Feather Babies

Cats: Midge, Niles, Cleo, Lily, Carmen, Iris, Meg, Murphy and Skeeter

Rabbits: Dust Bunny, Hunny Bunny

Guinea Pigs: Elvis, Priscilla, Gidget, Max, Molly, Miss P, Pepper, Coco and Lola

Birds: Squish and Squash (finch) Opal, Jade, Cagney and Lacey (budgies)

Colours

Pink and.....everything else.

Pink because I'm a bit of a Barbie Girl!!!

Every colour is incredible...I don't have any that I dislike!! Our home is a rainbow of different colours..the dining room alone is painted in blocks of roughly 7 different colours!

Let's talk about God

I am a member of the United Church of Canada and am incredibly active within our church.
Our family celebrates all religions - although I am a Christian, I belive strongly that there is a place in this world for all religons and beliefs!

I believe that it is within the power of every woman to make this world a better, more caring and compassionate place.

Just a couple of dislikes

I don't have very many dislikes but there are a couple of big ones!!

Please don't send anything that's mean to animals - I'm a huge huge huge animal lover and rescuer and things that are animal cruel just makes my heart hurt.

Perfume -- soft, natural scents are fine but please don't send anything super flowery or "smelly"- my sister is highly allergic to most chemicals so perfumes just knock her right over!

That's it -- everything else would be great!

Response: I'm glad you like it! I loved the bright colours -- I sent extra because the balls were a little smaller and the only other "cotton"I could find were huge balls...I figured this was a happy medium!
