Wow, where to begin? I found this site through postcrossing. I am a twenty-three year old lady living in Minnesota with my husband Kent. I absolutely love to receive mail and send mail to others. I'll never flake unless I die and hopefully not even then, because I'll let my husband know what sites to check. LOL. I have a degree in elementary education and a minor in French. I absolutely love anything French or Italian. I love reading, postcrossing, thriftstore shopping, crocheting, crafting, hiking, traveling, baking, cooking. I have a lot of hobbies.
Taio Cruz, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Phil Collins I'm really not a big music listener, just because I usually don't think about it.
Tomorrow When the War Began Series by John Marsden, Eragon by Paolini, Sisterhood of the Pants Series, Holes by Sachar, Chronicles of Narnia by Lewis, I love historical fiction of any kind.
Btw, I'm on Shelfari if anyone wants to see my recently read bookshelf. http://www.shelfari.com/o1514358854
Absolutely not Twilight!!! Please. I don't mind if you like it although we might debate certain literary points, but I abhor it.
I love romantic comedies and independent films.
Enchanted, Mrs. Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Julie and Julia, Sweet Home Alabama, Dan in Real Life, Slumdog Millionaire, 300, Sin City, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, P.S. I Love You, The Notebook
I also love all the old Disney Films (favorite is Beauty and the Beast) and Studio Ghibli (favorite is probably Howl's Moving Castle.
I adore Amy Adams. I think she is the most talented, absolutely gorgeous actress ever.
My hubby is a film fanatic, so we see a lot of movies both off the radar and mainstream.
Dexter (although last season really soured the show for me) United States of Tara (although the 2nd season is leaving me wanting) Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (If you haven't watched brotherhood you just wasted time watching a sub par series) Cowboy BeBop The Office
We have online netflix, so the possibilities are endless. Love Hulu!
I'm teaching myself how to crochet, so easy patterns and pointers would be much appreciated. Especially for hats.
I love to bake and cook. When I am making something in the kitchen my soul sings and dances and whirls about. I love even more having people taste the finished product. Recipes and kitchen utensils are absolutely wonderful.
I do different things with postage stamps when I get the fancy. For instance the bottom drawer of my bureau is covered in stamps because the replaced walnut veneer was peeling. I've also covered breakfast trays. It looks pretty cool.
I try to get motivated to scrap book. At the moment I have a lot of things to glue in neat places, but haven't actually started. I need to print the pictures out and do it.
I play volleyball both court and sand. I play disc golf and absolutely love it! Softball is fun too! The man loves his baseball.
I hope this is filled out enough. Overall, I think this site is neat and hope to meet people and brighten days through the swaps. If you have any questions just message me and I can answer them. Anything you would give yourself is graciously accepted by me.
Swift Swapping!
p.s. I have a healthy fascination with the following subjects: pineapples, whales, stingrays, manta rays, cookie cutters, children's books, holidays, stamps, postcards, books, and mail.
