I'm a former NYC-transplant who just crossed the river into NJ but still a Pittsburgh born & bred "yinzer" at heart. We just welcomed our first baby (a girl!) this past spring, so I'm learning the ropes of parenting - so much more overwhelming than I thought!!

I fell in love with crafting while DIYing most of our wedding a few years ago, and now that I've retired from the workforce to be a SAHM I'm hoping I'll have more time to get back into it. Of course with an infant, I'm actually finding I had MORE time when I was at the office! Babysteps.

I'm a classically trained vocalist who sings no more, a former athlete who now only works-out so I can indulge in the occasional (read: daily) dessert. I love exploring new places & things, and look forward to learning new crafts, techniques & interesting tidbits from everyone here:)
