I am an artist in the midwest. I live with my adorable GSD, Olive and my socially-challenged orange tabby cat, Lys. I don't have much spare time, but I enjoy camping hiking and paddling when I can get away. I'm inspired by thought-provoking art, saturated colors and good music.

I am mostly drawn to alternative music and indie-rock styles, but I am a music snob (mostly because I can't seem to play any instruments). I have some favorites that defy classification, Joe Jackson, Todd Rundgren, The Finn Brothers, Ben Harper...

I love good documentaries, foreign films, and indie, art-house films especially.

I admit that I watch I Love Lucy episodes over and over and over again. I know most of the dialogue by heart.
