I am the owner of Sommer Designs, a small independent business in Southern California. I design & manufacture a line of handbags and accessories that are available online and at events & shows in the Southern California area.

When I'm not held prisoner in my workshop, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, entertaining, hiking, taking random pictures and thrifting. I love flowers, especially beautiful roses and collect rose patterned china, among other things...I also love stationery, note pads, lip balm, tea towels, fabric and sewing trims and notions.

Also, as for swaps, I do not celebrate Christmas, so I would prefer to not receive anything Christmas related. ;) Thanks!

Not much of a watcher, but like old Seinfeld episodes, The Office. Okay, I like The Office a lot.

Sewing, paper crafts. I love magazines and find them incredibly inspirational. I love different textures and patterns; I am a wannabee crocheter, but unfortunately, I seem to have two left hands and can't get beyond the basic chain...obviously, I love fabric, mainly cottons; I love vintage notions, buttons and trims.
