I am a bookworm, knitter, seamstress, crafter. What I am not is blogger :)
I don't have a favorite book. There are several that I like to read once a year or so, like Hobbit and following books and the Harry Potter books and of course Terry Pratchett. But I also like historical novels and autobiographical works and of course my great love - craft books. And then cook books. And then crime stories that are really mellow. And lots of children's books. One of my favorite authors is Astrid Lindgren, but I also love Hugh Lofting and F.H. Burnett, to give a broad idea.
If I have spare time, I love to curl up with a book, cup of nice tea and some biscotti. Or a bar of milk chocolate with hazelnuts.
I love to sew, both by hand and with a machine. I sew most of the clothes that my daughter wears. I have made dolls, both waldorf and regular cloth dolls, felt animals and other creatures. I often draft my own patterns for toys.
I think I might love knitting even more than sewing. I prefer wool over anything else but I do sometimes use blends or even cotton. My favorite colors knittingwise are gray, green and brown.
Besides that I also felt and I would dearly love to get back to spinning.
Earthy tones: mossy green, warm browns and my new love, charcoal gray.
At home I have red and linen colored living- and dining room, so I suppose I also like red.
Yarn! Even little balls, I love having little miniskeins of different colors and fibers.
Knitting accessories like stitch markers and various other doo-dads.
Knitting or craft magazines (I subscribe only to Living Crafts).
Chocolate, milk not dark. Even better if it has hazelnuts in it :)
Cloth drawstring bags (I keep various projects in them and I love when they have a memory to go with them).
Anything to do with bears (fabric, little toys, postcards, bookmarks...).
Unfortunately I can not tolerate anything with aloe or heavy scents. And angora fiber.
