I'm a Canadian who came to Germany to study and ended up staying a little longer :)

I love vintage and thrifted things, which are sadly hard to find in this region. In particular, I collect buttons, fabric, ribbons, etc for craft projects. And I am nutty for old sewing or knitting patterns.

I love anything plant related and have always been fascinated by the many forms found in nature.

I like most things, jazz, ska, salsa, country, almost anything in between.

I am a sucker for musicals. Growing up it was movies from the 30s to 50s, starring Fred Astair or Gene Kelly. Then a few years ago I discovered and fell in love with Bollywood films.

I knit, spin, and sew most often, collage, sculpt, paint or work with glass occasionally, and plan to try everything else at least once.
