I am a Mom of little 3 girls in Montreal I love all kinds of crafting. I love traveling and learning new things about this amazing world we share. I like natural things and tend to be somewhat hippie-ish. We are a mostly vegetarian and organic family. I love that the most toxic thing in my house is the vinegar! I was in Brownies when I was young, and we had an annual swap meet. I can't believe that this has been rejuvenated here online!! Fantastic!
I enjoy cooking & baking. I tend to gravitate towards anything floral. Fav color is purple. Love ethnic food...especially south indian. Glove/Mitten size large, head and neck are average size. I HEART handmade items. I would describe my style as classic with a bohemian edge.
Oh, one of my girls has a stamp collection (used stamps are fine),so if you have any on hand...they would one little girl VERY happy!
jazz, alternative, swing, big band, classic rock, some country (I'm originally from Texas), and disco
it changes all the time...mostly chick flicks
Grey's Anatomy--it's the only thing I watch on television.
I was really into soap making for a few years, but now I've returned to my old standbys of jewelry making & sewing. I learned to knit last year, but I'm still learning to read those darn directions!! I'm currently TRYING to knit mid-arm length fingerless gloves. I love different types and textures of yarn, natural fibers of course!( i currently have more yarn that time).
I would enjoy different sizes of bamboo or unusual needles or long circulars. I love Martha and would welcome back issues. I adore scarves and nice beads. I just learned how to use DPN but don't yet own hand knitted socks.
I am just starting to buy craft books. I also like books on paper craft and natural living. I use sterling wire for my jewelry, so I am always on the lookout for natural stone or handmade or glass beads...or just any beautiful and unique beads. My daughters just got a doll house, so I've also starting collecting miniature things for them. (Check out turkey feathers for miniature inspiration). I would also love one of those felt cupcake pin cushions!
