Hey, my name is Mackenzie and I'm a 17 year old high school senior....For now(!) As soon as I'm out of college I hope to be working for National Geographic; taking pictures and writing about the places I see. I guess that qualifies as a 'job'. Sounds more like an adventure to me. At least I hope that's what it will be. Until then, I'll keep myself busy with things like school, photography, writing, reading, drawing, painting, listening to music, playing the piano, petting my cat, and traveling as far as the family budget allows.

I am open to pen friends of any nationality/race/gender/age/etc. Just drop me a line! I am also willing to swap pretty much anything that will fit in an envelope. I love vintage things; postcards,photos, beads,etc or just whatever cultural tidbits you happen to have lying around your house. Send me a letter/postcard/package/photograph/drawing/etc and I will send you something equally fabulous.

Just thought you might want to know, 'A few random facts about me:' before you spend a whole 39 cents on me.....

I want to be a photojournalist. Mint green and lilac are my favorite colors. I like listening to rock/indie rock/a bit of country/and some jazz. I am a vegetarian. I like reading good books, Hello Kitty, fashion,learning languages, and drinking coffee.
