I work with collage and assemblage .. .. combining layers of texture. I especially love odd combinations of transparent fabric, handmade papers, metal wire and found objects. My real work (the day job that pays for my glue,paper, and fabric!) is as an Interior Designer... Have had my own business for over 15 years. I'm fascinated with the similarites of designing such small pieces in the 2.5" x 3.5" format and that of giant pieces: residential and commercial spaces. Guess it really is all about scale and balance. But, these little cards are such fun and such immediate gratification!
