I\'m a married mother to two college-age boys. I work full-time outside the home, and in my remaining time I\'m addicted to sewing, etc. I love all kinds of fabric -- probably the weirder the better! I love all colors and prints too -- sometimes the \"uglies\" hold hidden surprises. I love most styles, maybe not so much ethnic stuff, but definitely love anything with a European flair. Love British decorating magazines (ahem, Country Home) and am just being introduced to Japanese craft books via blogs -- interesting concept. Love pleats, ruffles, pintucks, buttons -- all the details that make garments/sewn items interesting. Now, I\'m just rambling....
Hmmm. Not much of a music buff. I usually work in silence, prefering to think about stuff. If I had to pick something, it would probably be The Eagles. Where\'s the category for favorite books here? That would work better for me....Anything classic and British, Beloved, Atlas Shrugged, ....
I love movies! Can\'t really list favorites -- it\'s like picking a favorite child. I like Braveheart, Life is Beautiful, Pretty Woman, American Beauty, Top Gun, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Indie films that make you come away and say \"What just happened\" or \"That was weird\" -- all kinds of different movies. Oh, and one of my all-time favorites -- The Full Monty! Not much into Sci-Fi or Horror though.
Lost, Gray\'s Anatomy, Boston Legal, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Anything from the 60\'s, Lost, oh, and Martha Stewart -- does she count as a TV show? And Barefoot Contessa too!
Sewing, Quilting, Knitting, Tole Painting, Crocheting, Papercrafts (but not scrapbooking), just getting interested in beading as it can be applied to fabrics as opposed to jewelry, and I love smocking, but I need a little girl to do it for! ;-)
