I'm a music teacher working freelance in an Australian city of uncertain location. During my very infrequent spare time, I love to read, knit, surf the 'net, and watch satirist-style cartoon shows.
From Medieval plainsong to punk rock, I'll listen to- and enjoy- just about every style of music, with these exceptions- *Hardcore thrash metal *Country which features more than one slide guitar per song *Any R&B which refers to a woman as a 'ho' and begins with a series of 'uh, uh, uh' type grunts *The soundtracks to the musicals 'Annie' and 'Starlight Express'.
I mostly listen to classical and Indie style music. Use your best judgment.
'Amelie', 'Dead Poet's Society', 'Wallace and Gromit- the Curse of the Were-Rabbit', 'South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut' and 'The Muppets Christmas Carol'
Family Guy, Mythbusters, The Simpsons, Spicks and Specks (Australian music trivia show), Iron Chef (the original, Japanese, hilariously overdubbed version), Drawn Together, and lately- The Biggest Loser.
Knitting, and plenty of it.
