I'm Vanessa, a 20 year old visual arts diploma student majoring in Graphic/Advertising. I'll be in graduating year in less than 3 months, but since it's a loooong vacation now, I'm currently a student intern at a design house, a 30min bus ride away from my home.

Born and raised in Singapore(Yeah this tiny red dot.), I'm Peranakan /Cantonese, so I speak a mix of fluent English, Mandarin and Malay everyday, whether at home or outside. I'm trying to pick up Korean, but it's hard!

When I'm not knee deep in school work, I can be seen at the library, spending an entire afternoon at starbucks or any other cafe with a good paperback, doodling something into my sketchbook when the urge strikes, working on personal art projects, reading design books, shopping online, practicing photography, searching for good music or having a good laugh. All this is not listed in order. (haha)

Swaps wise, I'm not picky about receiving a certain kind, except scrunchies(read below). As long as there's thought or care put into buying/making those items, I don't mind at all what it is. If really needed though, there's more info below to help you if you're sending swap items my way.

I've short hair that just won't stay tied up, so don't bother wasting your effort and time buying/making a hair tie/scrunchie. Haha! Seriously it would just collect dust once it reaches me. It would be a waste. Everything else is great :)

I LOVE collecting postcards, now about 2 boxes full of them in the shelves here, going on 3. When I run out of inspiration for school work/art projects, I'll open them up and they always give me an idea when I'm through looking at them. If there's one thing I always buy when I'm out shopping, it's postcards.

My favourite colours are white, brown, black and a little bit of orange. Yellow and grey is my favourite colour combination, but I'm not a big fan of pink, unless it's used in moderate amounts. lol. I think the only colour I HATE with a bloody passion is pastel blue. Navy blue's still fine, but pastel blue is really the pits to me. :(
