I'm PhD in English Literature (Romantic Poetry and Mythology). Also a Fantasy Lit scholar and librarian. I love sport - rugby, cricket, tennis, even golf! Coffee and chocolate are my addictions, as is the desire to make things when I should be studying (o.O), and writing.

Lots of stuff - Rob Thomas, Sting, Loreena McKennit, Brooke Fraser, Justin Timberlake, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Shihad, Musicals Brahms, Dvorak, Rachmaninov (what a collection). Very eclectic... everything but Gangsta, Emo and Death metal really.

Casablanca, Serenity, Snatch, Ocean's Eleven, Breakfast at Tiffanies, Cowboy Bebop, Dogma, An Affair To Remember, Lord of the Rings, PoTC, Finding Neverland (I love Johnny Depp), Much Ado About Nothing

I love sweet things - chocolate (all bar the white stuff), nougat, hard candy, you name it. Candy stores are bad places for me (wool stores have the same effect, but that's a completely different story).

I also love photos and postcards of places, book marks, patches. I have a blanket at home with patches from when I was in brownies, and it's still going strong (getting a little ratty though. :D)

I have a huge collection of pendants which I wear on a necklace - both singly and in groups that fit the theme. I don't buy jewelry though, I've been given every piece, and everthing I have has a story behind it. That's the way it should be. :)

Favourite colours - I like bold colours -wine red, forest green, midnight blue. Not really a fan of pastel shades. :)

Knitting, hand-painting yarn, writing, collecting writing tools and stationary, cross-stitch, cooking, baking, origami flowers, taking photos, making jewelry
