I hate about me sections because I always feel I get it wrong... here goes. I'm 34 work at a private college and putter around the house in my off time re-arranging the bath towels, organizing the spice drawer, painting walls and then posting pictures of it to my flickr account; I'm a Virgo/Leo cusp so I want to be the centre of attention while I clean the house.

I collect many things; vintage house wares, specifically solid colour pastel chinaware and blue/white stripes, pink copper canisters and vintage cookbooks from 1876 to 1959, fashion magazines from the 40's & 50's, vintage lab ware too and bottles. (If it's old and neat, I'll collect it.) I'm a sucker for Re-ment tiny toy food, minature glass animals, Japanese stationary (Sanrio or other) coloured pens, pencils, erasers. And as a recovering goth I still have a penchant for cute skulls and gargoyles. Really anything small detailed and cute.

Anything from the 40'5, 50's & 80's with a little broadway thrown in.

Lost, House, Durham County, BSG, Big Love, Sopranos. (Carnival and Rome are still in my top ten even though they're over.)

Beading = earrings, charm bracelets, earrings. Beach glass = tumbling, etching, drilling into beads. Mosiacs, painting, printing, drawing, throwing clay.

I'm a "how'd they do that - I can do that" kind of gal who does not shy away from power tools.
