PLEASE NOTE I am finishing up closing my home daycare business. Unfortunately, I'm running a bit behind (less than 1 week) on my swaps. I will send everything out as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience!!
I'm a home-schooling mom of 3, we live on a river, which is wonderful :) I love everything vintage, retro and even kitschy! Anything with aprons, housewives and 50's style is perfect to me :)
I'm a newbie at swapbot and I'm trying to better my profile....it's harder than I thought :)
I collect vintage children's books and any kind of vintage sewing and crafting book. I love cookbooks, especially chatty ones :) For fun, I read mysteries and contemporary non-fiction.
Big Lost fan!!! also, The Office, The Closer, Jericho
I love to sew- heirloom children's clothes, aprons, totes, home dec. I sell at craft shows with my new line I call 'Vintage Charm'. I try to incorporate vintage linens and trims into my sewn items. I also have picked up knitting again.
Colors
any shade of green, brown, red, aqua
Scents
Vanilla, lemon, Cinnamon/Spice, Citrus I don't care for any food scent that is 'sweet'
Paper
I LOVE listmaking and planning to be organized (not so much the doing of the lists, tho) so any paper/office supplies is FAB! little paper pads, post-it pads and tabs, envelopes, etc! For our homeschool we use a lot of stickers, little rulers, colored pencils/pens.
Crafting Tools
Sewing- fine hand sewing needles, like those from Wendy Schoen, Mettler thread, leather thimbles, felted wool, vintage patterns
Embroidery- wooden hoops, silk floss (heavenly!), transfer pencil, Aunt Martha patterns
Knitting- Addi-Turbo needles, Bryspun needles (both are impossible to find here), natural fibers, chunky (i.e. fast) yarns

Hello, I just got your profile surprise package today. I don't know if I can tell you how much I love the clothespin bag. It's so pretty. And thank you for the books! Amazingly, I haven't read either of them, although I've read a couple of Barbra Kingsolver's other books. Do you need a book infusion? I'd be happy to send you a couple! Let me know.
