  I like classic American literature. I really couldn't list all of my favorites. Too many.
  I also read books on personal finance, health and beauty, personal style, biographies, autobiographies.

My favorite craft is crochet. I love all kinds of yarn and thread. I also like crochet hooks that are embellished or made of something other than steel or plastic. Mostly, I only crochet small things such as bookmarks, dish rags, Christmas ornaments, etc. The largest things I've made are prayer shawls. I learned from my mom and she has crocheted tablecloths, curtains, beadspreads and other large projects. I am not there yet lol. I also enjoy coloring. Yes, coloring. As in coloring books. I'm a kid at heart lol. I find it very soothing and relaxing.

I am fluent in English and Spanish so I have quite the musical library. I've found something to love in everything from rock to pop to country to opera. There are great songs in every musical genre. We just have to stop and listen and give everything a chance. I love to find new artists (or at least new to me)and discover new songs. I don't mind explicit lyrics. I have no problems with heavy metal or rap music. These are just a few of my favorite artists but by no means all of them.

• Reusable shopping bags.
• Stickers: anything goes.
• Washi tape
• Cartoon characters: Bugs, Tweety, Tinkerbell, Pluto, Snoopy & the Peanuts Gang.
• I enjoy tea and coffee.
• I am an avid reader so bookmarks are appreciated.
• The Avery divider tabs that easily stick on and off. A must have in my office
• Pens in a variety of ink colors (i.e not black, blue, red).
• Highlighters
• Sharpie markers (or similar) in assorted colors and points
• Binder clips in assorted colors/designs.
• I am a dog lover so anything cutesy that features dogs or puppies will be well received.
• I have nothing against kitties so any cat lovers that want to share their cutesy stuff please do so.
• I also like butterflies and hummingbirds
• I like crochet magazines (back issues are great).
• Back issues of women's magazines or home decor magazines are welcomed.

I am not afraid of color. I love color. I'm especially fond of deep jewel tones.

Things I do not want to receive: Although I do like some of these things, I already have plenty.

• Small notebooks or notepads. .
• Candles scented or unscented.
• Lipbalms
• Soaps, hand creams/lotions
• Chocolate. It is hot all year here so any chocolate you send will arrive completely melted (but don't get me wrong, I love chocolate).
• Nothing that smells like cigarette smoke.
