About Me

***I usually send my swaps as soon as partners are assigned. However the global post service seems to be losing my postcards. Please let me know if you don't receive my swap in a reasonable time.****

I love to create and love playing with all times of media. When I am not buried in a project I can be found on the Internet, writing letters to my penpals, reading a mystery or planning a trip as my all-time favorite activity is traveling to foreign countries.

I acknowledge and rate the day I receive items. Travelin' and having just too much fun!

Favorite Music

Jazz, classical and International

Favorite Movies

Cinema Paradiso, Children of Heaven, Babette's Feast and Milagro Bean Field War. As you can see, I do like foreign movies the best.

Favorite Television

I don't watch much TV unless it's PBS. If I am in front of the tube, it is likely to be a DVD. And if I don't have to read the sub-titles, I am working on something by hand.

Favorite Crafts

Quilting, sewing, dyeing fabric, polymer clay, beading, mosaics, paper crafts, one-of-a-kind wearables, and whatever else comes along. I like to try new things as well as use the old in new ways.

Comment: Such a gorgeous card! Love, love, love it - and I am so envious of you, on your way to India! I visited Delhi nearly 30 years ago and would like to go again. As a very young woman, I found it to be a hard place to travel, but I suspect that it would be friendlier to me now. ;-)

Comment: AWESOME card of the Sands. I haven't been to Singapore in 15 years, my friends from there moved to Brunei for 6-8 months per year so it's harder to visit. Last time I went we stayed in a nice place across from the Raffles. We dressed up and went over the Raffles bar one night and hob-nobbed with the well-heeled. It was a fun evening, I think I'd like to find my way up to the rooftop on the Sands some evening and enjoy a fantasy evening again. Cheers

Comment: Love the AD card that you sent... can't believe that was a FREE card... I've bought cards that aren't half as nice as that one. Makes me want to hop on a plane and head for your spring/summer since we're heading into fall/winter here!

Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard of California. I love all those different views and also that you wrote so much on the back! My favourite views are the one with the foggy mountains in the upper left corner and the city view right next to it :)

Comment: Thanks for the great Redwood postcard. I've taken that trip and it was breath-taking... we did a long weekend drive from Pleasanton on up the Redwood Coast thru to Eureka and back! Definitely worth the trip.
