As soon as I saw your name on the package I gave it to my mum and told her she could open it (there was no way I could hold onto it until Christmas without giving in to my curiosity first!). What a hit! After attacking the box like a kid at christmas (honestly, the way she used that pair of scissors was scary), mum spent the following half hour in awe of your work (she said over and over in german, translated: 'how beautiful!' as she admired it). The colors you chose were absolutely perfect, she draped it over her bed and the colors not only complimented the room perfectly, but gave it a real warm feeling - just like sunshine. It was even more precious because my mum is currently in the grip of a pretty bad flu, and this made her forget about it for a while. Later that night she brought it out and showed my dad. I can't put into words how much she loved your afghan - thank you so very much from both of us! xxx
