Response: I really love the Cherish Nature line of fabrics - I hate that I can't find them very easily now. That journal cover would be beautiful with those squares! I hope to see the finished product :)

Response: I'm glad you found it calming. I known people have wildly differing opinions about batiks. Lots of firsts with that mug rug - first time with batiks, first mug rug, first attempt at FMQ. I was stressed out with all the newness, but it was good for me :). I tried to recreate an ocean-esque scene (sun rising/setting over the ocean), since you appear to derive a lot of inspiration from the coast/ocean.

Response: Thanks, Ky - I'm really glad you liked it. It took me doing some more research to figure out what I was doing wrong with the binding, but I think I have it figured out now :)
