Comment: I love lilacs, my in-laws used to have a huge circle of them around the tree and when you walked past it you would get an amazing, delightful smell, I can smell it even thinking of it. Thank you for the wonderful memory. We went to visit her grandchildren over Christmas. Our one granddaughter has aquarium frogs, they have grown, guess who’s room we slept in. Had to make that they were in aquarium every night before I went to bed and that the lid was tight and secure. Didn’t sleep well and when I got home I was in bed by 7:30 and slept until 7:30 the next day. Pretty much a sure thing will be staying at a hotel again next time we go to see them.

Living here in Hawaii I see the colorful tropical flowers, butterflies, blue sky, etc. I have a friend who was struggling with depression. She began writing in a Gratitude Journal that helped her to see all that she has to be thankful for. That really lifted her mood. Philippians 4:8 says to fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
