Response: The paper came from a stack that someone sent me as extras in another swap, I'm not sure where they are from :) You're welcome and thank you!
Response: It's been a busy week with my mother in town to visit the grandkids, so I didn't get to thank you immediately upon receiving your awesome package. Thank you so much! Leoni loves the stuffed crab ("Crabby"), and has even taken to sleeping with him. And I love everything else you sent as well. I will certainly respond when I have a little time on my hands this weekend :D <3
Response: This person has not been on swap-bot for over a year so I cannot resolve the 1 at this time.
UPDATE: On checking back I can see that this person hasn’t logged on in several years, so there is no way for me to make good on the swap.
Response: On April 11 I wrote a message telling her that I would make her another card for this swap. I did not receive a response while I was still checking the website every day.
UPDATE: In checking back now I can see that she hasn’t logged on since 2020 so there’s no way for me to make good on this swap.
Response: I agree, this swap was fun! Glad you liked what I sent :) I hope the swap keeps on going...
Response: I'm so glad you liked them! Honestly though, I get most of my cards from amazon and eBay... I just scroll through many pages of popular cards before I find the "weeeeeird" ones! ;) Google Jake the alligator man. I just did :)
Response: Glad you liked it! I feel the same way about the cold - too much for my tropical Cuban blood. I grumble about the heat but it's more my style. Until we meet again on the bot! :)
Response: I do like Barbies but I don't play with them. :) The truth is that I'm 33 and I've never learned to drive! But I plan to correct that in 2014. Happy new year!
Response: Ugh. I received yours today (beautiful, and I will rate in a moment). I had already heard from our other swap partner that the one I made for her arrived in a similar state :( it's too bad. Yours had wolves on it and I really liked both of the ones I made. I do plan to make others (though I can't replicate the ones that are destroyed). I will resend ASAP.
Response: The challenge said light blue and white! My blue is probably not quite "light" but it was the closest I could find. I am terrible at drawing so I only do collage :)
Response: I'm so glad you like them! I should warn you, I sent out two handmade cards in other swaps in which I used the same glue as the handmade PC I sent you, and they BOTH came apart :( So if you plan on sending that one out one day you should put a protective layer over it. Sorry about that...
Response: Aww what a bummer :( I really liked the way that one turned out. The quote was "the gift is a rare copy of the sacred / rituals even more ancient / we are tempted / to conceal the operation" (just random things I cut out of an old art book). Looks like I need to find yet another type of glue. The last one made my pieces bubble up and apparently this one is not strong enough. Maybe you can recycle what's left of it into one of your own creations. I will make another one for you soon and hopefully it will arrive in one piece!
Response: I actually bought that book a while ago (from a thrift store, of course) because it was so weird that I had to have it. When I saw this swap I thought it was too perfect. I'm glad you like it! Seems like the person who wrote it was on something ;)
Response: I'm so happy you liked them! What a happy coincidence that I had acquired those cans right before "beer can appreciation day" ;)
Happy 2014 !!!
Response: Thanks for letting me know. I keep having bad luck with all my glues and sealants. They bubble up, or they are too weak, stay tacky, etc... :/ Glad you were able to salvage it.
