Description:

Spring is just around the corner (or I want it to be, anyway). Time to think about the outdoors!

You will share your favorite outdoor ramble with your partners. This may be a hike, walk, ski trail, bike trail, kayak route, etc. The idea is to give your partners a sense of what it is like to have the experience this place, and why you love it. In order to do so, you might include things like a written description, a story about your experience, pictures, drawings, map, or a combination.

Please include where it is, and directions if possible, for those of us who'd like to imagine we'd get there someday!

I am giving lots of time, both to get us closer to spring and because this is my first swap as coordinator! Please 4.5 or better and no recent unexplained no-sends. Newbies please PM me to join.

May it be something extremely unromantic like a walk to railway station (that's the favorite place for my kids to have a picnic!) or walking around in the forest that's almost right behind our house? I don't think I'll be taking any long trips in March... the Month of the Flu. ;)

Absolutely! The main point is to relay the experience to your partners. And it doesn't have to be local to you or one you have done this month. Some of my favorite hikes are out in Arizona where I used to live.

What a lovely idea for a swap! Is it international?

I look forward to this swap! I know exactly what I am going to write about and the pics I will include!

lxmack 02/ 4/2008 #

Yes, its international! All the more places to dream about.

It just occurred to me to ask am I sending this email or snail mail

lxmack 03/ 5/2008 #

Sorry, I should have been specific in the description! Please snail mail to your partners.

I hoped to get new photos of these places in spring... but I could make new photos of these places in snowstorm instead. :S
