I love children's books, so I thought I'd create this swap.

This swap is simple, for who like children's books. You will get 1 partner and you have to send 1 of children's book ( book store bought only. Not old book. ) . The children's book do have to be from your country. I think we can see the picture drawn on the children's book, and can feel something. Please do polite packing, when you send the children's book.

Newbies with well filled out profiles are welcome. No flakers allowed. Have fun!

What does polite packing mean? I'm unfamiliar with this wording.

I'm from Mexico, can the book I'll send in spanish or it has to be in english?????

@Cherylbugs Sorry...My expression was wrong. This means firm packing using bubble wrap ( sheets ) etc. It at least must not be an envelope of thin paper.

@perlacraft The selection is your freedom. It is OK even if the children's book is not written in English. I welcome all languages including Spanish.

Yay!!! Thank you:)

i would be interested in doing this but as i can only read english, it wouldn't be any use to me if it were in another language, could i say english only for me?

@devilyn sorry...my explanation is insufficient. This swap is welcome all language. I think if the children's book is restricted to English, the width of selection of the books becomes narrow. So, you cannot say English only. Actually, Japanese children's book ( I'm Japanese ) written in English is not sold in the bookstore of my neighborhood. Even if we do not understand languages, I think we can see the picture drawn on the children's book, and can feel something.

Fabulous! I started to buy books in various languages for my baby girl. She's got books in French, English and Norwegian so far (we speak those 3 languages to her) and I'd love to get some more :)

so right erichan about the appriciation of the drawing in the book and even if the words are not understood in our language a picture says a thousand words......

perlacraft 03/ 9/2012 #

So, I'm in ;)
