The first time I hosted this it went well and I had some very nice pressed fairies sent to me! I absolutely adore Brian Froud's pressed fairy books. If you do too and you want to try your hand at pressing your own fairies then this is the swap for you! This is one ATC for one partner. How you do it is up to you but try to be creative. Maybe draw one on top of some ink or water colours. Perhaps add some googley eyes, or use stickers and paint smudges over top.... lots of ways to go about this! Everyone is invited to join (yes, newbies too!) and I can angel this if need be. Have fun with it! Added Info: An ATC is short for Artists Trading Card. It is a card that is 2.5" x 3.5" in size (the size of a usual playing card). It is usually made of card stock and can be hand drawn, decorated and embellished in any way you like. On the back of the card you should add the following: title of the card, your name, date created, how many in that series (for example if I were making 3 of them I would write 1 of 3 , 2 of 3 or 3 of 3) and the name of the swap that you are making it for. An ATC is never sold, only traded. And if possible, you should send your ATC in a plastic trading card sleeve (found at hobby stores and some dollar stores too) to help protect the card. |
