A. Q. – Share the Wealth & inspire, USA, Canada

8-15-12 thru 9-15-12

This is a de-stash swap to downsize items we no longer plan to use that just may inspire someone else to create a masterpiece!

Due to postage expense this will be a USA and Canada swap only. If you'd like to set up an international version of this swap and copy any or all of these options, please feel free to do so.

You will have 1 partner to send 4 of the items listed below. Anything I get in this swap I will share with my quilting friends at church who are beginner quilters and inspired by EVERYTHING! Everything quilting is new to them!

SENDERS should send good useable items, never trash. Swap-bot golden rule: Always send the quality you'd like to receive.

RECIPIENTS rate fairly remembering this is a de-stash swap.

  1. -- 2 fat quarters of 100% cotton quilting fabric (fq = 18"X21-22")

  2. -- 4 fat eights of 100% cotton quilting fabric (fat Eigth - 9"X21-22")

If you don't have all the parts, don't send it. Don't forget the instructions if needed.

  6. -- two or more orphan quilt blocks (left over completed blocks from your projects, not the defective ones either) if you have a pattern for them send it too!

  7. -- embroidery patterns (these could be opened packages of iron-on embroidery patterns part of which you’ve used and the rest have not been transferred) This could also be new unused patterns you won’t ever get around to using, or maybe you have duplicate patterns and only need one.

  13. -- sandwich bag full of 100% cotton quilting scraps (recommended sizes: strips of 1" X 4" or larger or pieces 4"X4" or larger) please do not send torn, frayed or faulty fabrics

can somebody come over to my house and help me dig thru all this fabric......what was I thinking when I bought it? whew, getting ready to move is interesting to say the least!

I'd love to come to your house and see your stash, even help you pack it up. But your friendly presence is the only reason I can think of to go to Kansas, especially as I'm in one of the nicest summer spot in the US of A. (I write this after a lovely afternoon on the beach enjoying a wonderful breeze and watching young and old have a great time,)

oh my goodnes, you just had to rub it in Junie! Yes, I live in Missouri and travel to Kansas everyday and back for work. (short 19 mile trip one way) and we are having a hot summer here with more golden burnt grass than I've ever seen in my lifetime!

I think it would be more fun to bring my sewing room to your yard to sort and pack! (much better scenery and weather and company!)

I'm taking stacks and bins and boxes and bags and rubbermaid containers full of fabric, sewing supplies, patterns and anything eles sewing related to the church "bingo for prizes" this Saturday. That ought to clean out a ton of extra's. It is a win-win for me and the ladies who play the bingo. It is free to play and whoever wins gets to pick from the stash I've donated! They get free goodies, I get a cleaned out sewing room...see? win-win!

I've changed my address so this swap will be the first one to have partners assigned AFTER my move. If I am your partner to send to on this swap please be sure to check the new address as 512 is correct address, not 121 any more.

confused?....me too....PM me!
