This swap is not for the faint of heart! You'll be sending your partner 50 different washi tape samples! Each sample needs to be at least 15" long. You may include 2 solid colored washis. Thin washis are acceptable for this swap. Totally sender's choice as long as it's really washi and not plastic/ deco tape or glitter or stiff dollar store washi that has a white edge when torn. Wrap the samples on playing cards covered in clear tape or similar to keep that last layer from sticking. (Plastic cards don't need to be covered in clear tape.) Try not to wrap so tightly that the tape is permanently creased. This will probably be about 10 cards so this is going to be a type 3 swap/ package swap. If you can figure out a way to send it flatter, go for it! Don't forget the note stating the swap name and your swapbot ID. Tape the edges of your envelope to keep it from tearing apart during travels. Tis the season for mail being rough handled! Decorating the outer envelope is optional but, of course, always appreciated. =) |
