Description: | |
Do you prefer bright colors, deep burgundy or perhaps all shades of pink? Maybe yellow makes you smile or warm colors comfort you. In this swap you get to choose the colors you'd like to see on the ATCs your swap partners will make you. Every participant lists one, two or several colors they would like to see on the ATCs they receive from their swap partners. It's completely up to you how many colors you want to list and if you want to pair them up into a color scheme (such as blue & white & red or black & white). Be clear when posting what you wish for. You can either post the colors you desire here or you can send messages to one another when you know who you are sending to. You will make 2 ATCs for 3 different people from the color/s they have listed. Depending on the colors your partners have listed the ATCs can be both in the same color/s or you can pick two different ones from your partner's list. The lists can be as specific (light pink & white, bright yellow with little black for contrast...) or as vague as you like. After all it is your choice. The ATCs can be made using any medium you prefer and the topic is your choice save the colors. They must be standard ATC size, which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (64 x 89mm). You can create the cards on regular playing cards (provided they are the right size) or on regular trading cards or on your own choice of material. I've used cardboard packaging, sturdy letters and watercolor paper among many other possible choices. You may use as much or as little embellishments on your cards as you like. Just keep in mind that the final product should still be flat enough to fit in the standard trading card sleeves. To recap: 1.Everyone makes list of colors they want to see on the ATCs they will receive and finds out the colors their partners want to have on their cards. 2.Everyone makes 2 ATCs for their 3 partners on their themes of choice. That makes it 6 ATCs in total. 3.Everyone receives 2 ATCs from the themes of their choice from 3 different partners. This swap is International. Please don't join if you can't afford the postage. Everyone with a rating over 4 is welcome as well as newbies with fully written profiles. If you have 'no sends' please message me what's the status on those and we'll see what we can do. I want everyone to receive their cards in the end. If you are new to ATCs but would like to join, don't hesitate. I'll help you get started :) |
