Description:

Hello Magpie Lovers! Let’s create a devoted mini Fall/Halloween Magpie. What’s a devoted mini you ask? It’s a pocket size or smaller (3.5x 4.5 at largest) bound composition book that you will fill 20 pages. Make sure your pages are sturdy. Perhaps glue two pages together to make stronger.

Inside you will fill it with Fall/Halloween items perhap uisng ideas posted below. Be as creative as you see fit. Perhaps give some details on what you include or use some decorative way to display the item.

New for this swap...add a few goodies (3-4) for your partner inside your book. Can be stickers, labels, tags, envies, stickies, ribbon, Washi, etc. something small.

Make it unique and chunky! Because these are so small, it will be easy to fill a page quickly and you might be surprised at how quickly it comes together. You can start right away as this isn’t partner specific.

I am hoping this encourages creativity as we look at items we use throughout our day.

Fall/Halloween comic.

A Fall/Halloween newspaper article or magazine cut out.

A wrapper, box clipping, etc. of something you ate that’s Halloween or Fall themed.

Practice your hand lettering, write a short Fall poem or haiku, etc

A coffee sleeve

A Fall recipe you want to share.

A receipt from somewhere you went perhaps and had a pumpkin item?

Fall/ Halloween clothing tag or cut outs.

A sample of Fall/ Halloween of Washi.

Fall/Halloween ribbon.

A costume picture of something you love.

A piece of nature (leaf, flower, tree rubbing, etc)

Something in Fall colors.

A Halloween doodle.

Favorite Fall Activty.

Think of tail gating, Football, ideas.

How you decorate your house for Fall.

Fall to do lists.

Be creative.

Please don’t send sticky or stinky items.

Also, please read your partner’s profile to be sure you don’t send something they could be allergic to.

You will have a month to complete this swap.

At present, this is a US swap but another swapper may set up an international swap if desired.

Have fun with it!
