I just read a really cool article by Traci Bunkers entitled "Mail Art Cards On The Edge" from the book Kaleidoscope ideas + project to Spark Your Creativity by Suzanne Simanaitis. How cool would it be to go to your mailbox and find mail art cards?!?!? I will answer that for you; IT WOULD BE COOL!!!!!!!!!!! So, save your cereal boxes or cardboard boxes and get busy creating mail art cards. Think ATC but on a slightly bigger scale. They can be any shape, or any size for the matter. One side is where your art goes (and any medium goes, collage, painting, coloring, sewing, pencil, pen, ink etc....) the other side should be addressed to your partners in the manner you would address a post card. This is an international swap. This swap in for newbies. This swap is for swappers with a rating of 4.0 or higher. If you have a lower rating contact me and we can work out something. Now, for the preachy part: don't sign up for this swap if you "don't intend to send!" If you sign up and your calendar fills up, all you have to do is drop from the swap. You will have 5 partners, so make 5 mail art cards. Let the creating begin. |
