I love writing poetry and reading it- so why not share it? This swap series will focus on micropoems specifically, to keep us from stressing out about writing perfect, long poems :D

Each swap will have a different theme!

A micropoem is exactly what it sounds like- an extremely short poem! For the sake of this swap, each poem must be shorter than five lines long. Click this link to read a few micropoems if you'd like inspiration!

The theme for this swap is affection!

This can mean romantic affection or platonic, for your partner or pet or food- or affection in others! This is very open to interpretation, and I hope all of you go wild with it :)

You will have one partner, and will send them 5 separate micropoems.

• Each poem must be shorter than five lines long.

• Try not to structure them like haikus or formal shorter poems- push yourself past your comfort zone!

• Each poem must be on a separate sheets of paper, or different pages. Index cards, memo sheets, flip books, mini journals- it's up to you, just don’t put them all on one page, and make sure your partner sees the love put into how you present them :)

• Feel free to send more than five, but you need to meet the minimum!

• Please refrain from overly explicit, reactionary, or harmful content. Make sure to double-check your partners profile before you send to make sure you aren't hitting any topics that would upset them- and if in doubt, message them!

Swap Rules:

• 4.95 rating minimum, must have at least 5 type 2 or 3 swaps completed, and a well filled out profile. I reserve my right to ban if things look sketchy.

• I'll be angeling for this swap, but please don't make it necessary!

• If you receive 5 poems, rate your partner with a 5. Make sure to rate in general!!

• This is international, and is a physical letter sent! Make sure you note that before signing up.
